Undo Your Blouse, Baby
8 in stock
This chemo greeting card was inspired by one of my patients. Every time she would come in for chemo, her husband would say in a low sultry voice, “Undo your blouse… baby.” It would inevitably make her laugh, and eventually other spouses caught wind and started repeating it.
A port-a-cath is a semi-permanent IV that is surgically placed under the skin on the chest or the upper, inner arm for chemo infusions. It’s placed so the smaller veins on the arms aren’t ruined from the caustic treatment. To “access” the implanted port, the nurse sticks a needle through the skin into the center of the port. To do this, the patient has to pull down their shirt enough for the nurse to reach it if the port is located on their chest.
Blank inside so you can fill it up!
